Terms of Service

LocalRank measures how public AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) respond to realistic local-search questions, and reports how often a business is mentioned. Grades reflect the answers those third-party engines gave at scan time — engines change their answers, and we don't control them.

The free scan is provided as-is, one report per submission. Monitor is a monthly subscription (weekly re-scans and alerts). Fix is a monthly done-for-you service that starts with a scheduled call.

We report and improve the inputs AI engines read — profiles, reviews, site content. We cannot and do not guarantee that any engine will mention or recommend your business, or that a grade will reach a particular letter. Anyone who guarantees AI or search placement is guessing.

Subscriptions are billed monthly in CAD through Stripe and can be cancelled anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period. No long-term contracts. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Scan businesses you own or are authorized to represent. Don't use reports to disparage competitors, and don't attempt to manipulate, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalRank's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We're not liable for business decisions made on the basis of a report.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. We may update them; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
